My film is a short film or a student project — can I still reach out for collaboration?

Absolutely. We do not judge a project by its length or the creator’s background. We are always interested in meaningful work made with care, regardless of its scale. While most of our projects are feature films, we also take on selected short films and student projects depending on our availability and how strongly we connect with the film. For these projects, however, clients may need to work within a specific collaboration model set by inbetween.

我们并不以电影的长短或创作者的身份来区分作品，也始终期待与各种认真创作、具有意义的作品合作，无论其规模大小。虽然工作室目前的主要项目以长篇电影为主，但也会根据档期情况以及我们对影片本身的喜好，选择性地接受一些短片和学生作品。对于这类项目，委托方通常需要接受映庆 inbetween 所设定的特定合作模式。

What are your fees

For films of a certain scale with confirmed theatrical distribution, we generally work on a market-rate basis. For art films, independent films, documentaries, experimental works, and student projects, we are happy to discuss a fair fee based on the scale of the project and the complexity of the poster design. In some cases, we are also open to mutually beneficial in-kind arrangements.

对于具有一定体量、并进入正式院线发行体系的电影，我们通常按照市场标准报价。针对艺术电影、独立电影、纪录片、实验电影或学生作品，我们则会根据项目规模及海报设计的复杂程度，与片方协商一个对双方都合理的价格。在部分情况下，我们也接受合理且互惠的资源置换。

What’s your typical design timeline

For feature films, please allow at least two weeks for the design process; for short films, at least three days. To avoid last-minute requests or scheduling conflicts, we strongly recommend contacting us as early as possible. Please note that the design timeline does not include time required for business arrangements or for the client to prepare and provide project materials.

长片项目请至少预留两周的正式设计时间，短片项目至少三天。为避免临时急需海报或与工作室档期发生冲突，请尽可能提前联系我们。请注意，正式设计周期不包括商务流程所需的时间，也不包括委托方准备并提供项目素材的时间。

Do you only design one-sheet posters, or can you develop a full visual campaign for a film

It depends on your needs. We also frequently provide a full range of graphic design services throughout a film’s promotional campaign, although this work is not featured on our website. If you would like to learn more, please feel free to contact us. We’re always happy to work closely with our clients to explore a strong overall visual strategy — starting with the poster and using graphic design to build a distinctive, cohesive, and appropriate visual identity for the film.

Where are you based? Is an in-person meeting necessary to start working together-

We’re based in Hangzhou, China, and most of our project communication is handled online. That said, you’re always welcome to visit our studio in person. In most cases, we ask clients to provide a secure online screener link. Alternatively, after discussion, we can arrange either to view the film at the client’s location or for the client to bring the film to our studio for an in-person screening.

我们工作室位于中国杭州，大部分项目沟通都在线上完成。当然，我们也非常欢迎大家前来工作室参观交流。通常情况下，我们需要委托方提供可在线观看的加密影片链接；也可以在双方沟通后，另行确定由我们前往委托方处观影，或由委托方前往工作室进行线下观影。

Are your posters for sale
你们的海报销售吗

Most of the works featured on our website are available for purchase. A small number, however, cannot be printed or sold due to restrictions in the original project agreements. Our posters are produced as fine art pigment prints, with color calibration handled directly by our studio, in a standard size of 60 × 90 cm or proportionally reduced formats. For individual orders, please contact us by email. The minimum order is five prints.
